How long does a detail take?
An interior and exterior wash is a couple of hours. A Full Factory Reset is a full day inside and out. The Ultimate Factory Reset, with polish and ceramic coating, takes longest and is booked in advance.
Do you work on supercars and prestige cars?
Yes. Supercars, classics and prestige daily drivers are exactly what Mason does best, treated with the care they deserve.
What areas do you cover?
All of East Lothian as standard, including Haddington, Musselburgh, North Berwick, Dunbar, Tranent, Prestonpans, Longniddry and Gullane. Mason travels further for bigger jobs like paint correction and ceramic work. Send your postcode to check.
How do I get a price?
Send a few photos of the car on Messenger or through the form. You get a fixed quote and a date that suits you, usually the same day.
How much does car detailing cost?
An interior and exterior valet is £70, or £60 a month if you keep it topped up. A Full Factory Reset with clay bar decontamination and sealant is £80. The Ultimate Factory Reset, with polish and ceramic coating, is £150. Larger, heavily soiled or exotic cars are quoted on inspection.
What is the difference between valeting and detailing?
A valet is a thorough clean inside and out. Detailing goes further and corrects the paint itself, using clay bar decontamination, machine polishing and a protective coating to restore gloss rather than just remove dirt.
What is ceramic coating?
A long lasting protective layer bonded to the paint. It repels water and dirt, deepens the gloss and makes the car far easier to keep clean for years.
